4th day ~ A walk in the park

Tuesday, 14.08.

I guess that day isn't that interesting for blogging because Lau went to Tokyo for a Gal's meet and Michi and I had another really relaxing day in Kyoto but the day was quite nice for us two.

My outfit that day. Shirt, hair flowers, shoes and belt from H&M, jeans shorts from Tally Weijl, socks from Tutuanna.

After we brought Lau to the station I bought my first cigarettes in Japan that year. It's the same brand I buy in Germany but they are more tasty and I like them much more.

By the way, Kyan Yutaka is smoking the same brand. Isn't it fate? HA HA

Michi and I decided to discover our area around Kyoto station. First we went to the Kyoto tower and then we had a long walk around the Umekoji park.

Michi
A really nice smoking area with a wonderful view.

To the park belongs also a steam locomotive museum but we only took a look outside.

Also there was an Aquarium but we felt too tired to wait 45 minutes in the heat so we didn't went in.

After visiting the park Michi and I went for shopping to Aeon Mall but we didn't buy anything so we only had a nice dinner.
Tomorrow we planned to go to Kobe where Michis mail friend Makoto lives.

3rd day ~ Relaxing day at Kyoto

Monday, 13.08.

That day Michi was on a guided Kyoto tour so Lau and I had free time this day. We slept very long and after breakfast we decided to go shopping because I wanted to look for some brown shoes, a brown bag and some other things.

I wore my new outfit from Honey's that I bought the day before with Tutuanna socks, shoes off brand.

We tried to find without Michis help the passages in Teramachi-dori and Shinkyoguku-dori where we were yesterday.
I don't have any sense of direction so I had to trust in Lau XD

The first rest was on an ashtray. In Japan it isn't allowed to smoke in the streets so I was happy to find a place for my cigarette.

And YATTA! Lau found the way. It was a nice and relaxed day but I didn't find anything but Lau bought a lot of stuff.

For lunch we bought Onigiri at Family Mart and had a rest near the passages. There were a lot of pigeons and I felt a little bit like I was in Berlin XD

After shopping we went back to our hotel and prepared for dinner. Michis day was also nice. She visited a lot of famous places in Kyoto and also the handicraft center where she bought a lot of things.

The view out of our window at the hotel. Really beautiful. When I will marry some day [I guess I will never but WHEN!] I would choose Kyoto and the New Miyako Hotel. It's so perfect and romantic!

In the evening I watched some PV's of Golden Bomber. I missed the guys so I had to! I was really looking forward to see them live in Nagaoka.

2nd day ~ Kyoto downtown

Sunday, 12.08.

The day started with a nice breakfast at 'Café du Monde'. I love it to sit there and watching the people passing by.

My coord that day was very simple. Shorts from New Yorker, top and socks from H&M, shoes off brand and fake brown glasses from claire's. But, of course, I wore my extensions ^^

We strolled through the charming small streets of Kyoto.

Finally we were searching for Teramachi-dori and Shinkyoguku-dori to went a little bit shopping. That area is sheltered so we were protected from the sun and the heat.
That cute shop sells a lot of needful things for girls like adornment, cosmetics and also lashes *O*
I was so happy 'cause in Germany it's impossible to find lower lashes. I bought some Diamond lashes. They were 5o % reduced.

Everywhere were small shrines and it looks so peaceful and traditional. I love the athmosphere.

Lau and I
After shopping we went to Gion, a traditional area of Kyoto 'cause Michi wanted to check the schedule of the performances there. Kyoto is such a beautiful town.

My feet were burning after that long walk but I hadn't blisters on my feet like last year XD

For dinner I ate Yakitori with rice, very tasty, at our food court. Michi had the same meal, Lau tried the Takoyaki.
Then we went to supermarket for snacks and something to drink aaaand I found my beloved soft drink that I had last year. I don't know the name of it but I called it 'Naruto Brause' [Brause = soda] because last year was a picture of Naruto at the label XD

Naruto-Brause XD
The stuff is very sweet but I love it and the colour is sooo funny.
And here my shopping results that day:

I was inspired by the fashion of Kyoto's girls. They wear natural colours like brown, beige and grey so I bought that top and a short skirt with shorts under it at Honey's.
The shop staff asked me: "Wanna try?" and I answered: "Not try, buy!" because I knew that it would be fit.

And, of course, my new lower lashes from the PINK-latte shop. So the day was very successful.

1st day ~ Arriving at Kyoto

I was totally excited 'cause on Friday, 1o th August, my holidays started and I wanted to spend them in Japan.
So this will be my report about my wonderful time there.
I met a lot of old and new friends, visited old and new places, cried and loughed a lot and finally decided to come back next year in April for sure to celebrate my birthday there.

The night to Friday I hadn't slept very well so I was looking like a zombie from Stephen Kings 'Sometimes they come back'.
I met Lau around 9 o'clock for going to airport Tegel together.

Our first destination was Frankfurt, where we met Michi for taking together the airplane to Kansai International Airport in Osaka.

our dinner on the flight
snacks...happy that I got Onigiri
After around 11 1/2 hours we finally arrived very tired but happy in Japan. For me it felt like coming home afer a long time.
We took the Haruka Express at the airport like last year to arrive at Kyoto, where we spent the first 5 nights.

Because we arrived very early our room wasn't prepared for check in. In Japan it's normal that the check-in time is around 2 p.m. so we left our luggage there and visited first my favourite breakfast café 'Cafè du Monde' at the station where I had a caramel cafe latte and my first cigarette after that long flight.

Our first hotel was, like last year, the 'New Miyako' nearby the Kyoto station.
It's my favourite hotel, very comfortable, nice people, lightful rooms and a good beginning for our trip.
By the way, Kyoto is very famous for celebrate weddings and Michi and I were very excited for that fact and pitched a lot of funny tales XD

My first gets on that day: new Ageha and new egg issue.

After check-in and a short afternoon nap we went to AEON MALL, a shopping mall few meters far away from our hotel, for having our first Japanese dinner since one year ^O^

I had one of my favourite meals, Tempura with rice, sweet soy sauce and scallions. Very delicious.
So we were prepared for the following days.
