NIA live in Berlin

On April 23rd the Japanese band NIA (New Improved Ansia) was in Berlin.
Honestly I have never heard of the band before even they're active since 2006 but the ticket price was okay and I love concerts so I thought: why not?
Of course it was Senja's idea to visit the live so I went earlier from work that day for dressing up and getting my hair done.

A big big thanks to Senja for doing my hair, she's the best hair dresser ever! After getting ready Lau picked us up at my place 'cause this time she wanted to accompany us even she's not that into Japanese music anymore but I was happy.

So we went together to the club and we had to hurry up! We all had VIP tickets for an early entry and for a meet & greet with the band after the live.

The concert took place at a small club in Berlin-Kreuzberg called Cortina Bob. It was hard to find but in the end we arrived in time and were shocked 'cause just a few people waited outside.

Really belated the doors opened and we entered the club. We were a little bit surprised about the small stage.
I have never seen such a small stage before, not in Germany and not in Japan xD

The musicians prepared their instruments and some less other people arrived at the club to join the live but all in all we were around 30 fans.

Senja and I took place in the first row, Lau was behind us 'cause she felt not that comfy directly in front of the band.
After the first song called 'Damage' I was really surprised!
The music was really good and the 4 guys rocked the stage. We had fun to improvise some furitsuke but after a few songs they stopped playing.
The drumset was broken!
Drummer Hikari tried to fix it with the staff while the other bandmember talked to us and asked questions like what is our favorite Japanese food or if we like Japan.

After two more songs Hikari got problems with his drumset again. Poor drummer-chan!
But the breaks were very funny and interesting 'cause one of the fans spoke some Japanese and she translated between bandmember and us.

☆ SETLIST ☆

I guess NIA weren't able to play all of that songs from their setlist 'cause of the drumset dilemma.
For the encore they changed clothes live on stage into their tour shirts. So we got a strip for free, ha ha...except Hikari, he wore his shirt under his stage outfit. Damn!

But I really really enjoyed the live!

After we did the obligatory concert shot with the band and waited for the VIP event. We tried to rescue our make up and hair before we were allowed to take pictures with NIA.

They all were very kind and they gave every fan a hug <3

Spontaneously Senja and I bought a cheki with the band, so we got another picture. Every guy signed on it and it's such a cute memory.
While signing we talked a few words with the guys and I got cute compliments.

I wanted to stay longer but I had to work the next day *sigh*. NIA is an awesome band, the music is great and I hoped to see them again somewhere but yesterday Hikari posted on his Twitter account that they stopped their activities on 20th December.
I'm really sad but I'm thankful for the fantastic live.

A wonderful day with my best friends

In February I had a wonderful weekend with my best friends. It's impossible to meet them often all together 'cause two of them are not living in Berlin so it was a rare and happy event for me.

My friend Michi who is living in Duesseldorf stayed for 3 nights at my place, Senja from Cottbus just one and Lau we met in the city 'cause she's living in Berlin.
I prepared myself that day carefully (lovely Senja did my hair), we wanted to do some purikura that day.

Michi had some special things in her luggage: our Golden Bomber tour DVDs from 2015 (regular version and special Kiryūin Shō version) and a really cute surprise, a Gachapin scrunchie from my friend Kirschu.
I haven't seen Kirschu for a long time and I really miss her!

But there was another surprise: Senja gave Michi and me a pre Valentine's present and we sreamed so much.
We got a selfmade Golden Bomber plush, Kenji for Michi and Kirishō for me. This was sooo cute, I really love my chibi Baby <3

The plush has very cute details like just one hairy arm pit *lol* I was so happy about such a cute present!

Senja, Michi and I met Lau at Charlottenburg station and went together to J-Store Berlin. There is one of Germanys two purikura machines.
But beside the purikura we took a lot of other pictures that day.

Senja and I decided to dress up Michi in Sweet Gyaru look. Unfortunately the extensions weren't the right color so Senja did a cute short curly hairdo.
Michi isn't Gyaru but I think it suits her very well! It was a trial for the coming book fair in Leipzig.

We had a lot of fun doing purikura. In fact I don't like it to take some and I have sooo many sheets I collected the last years. What the hell should I do with them? Do you ever look at your purikura again months ago?

But this time I like the result 'cause it's so great that my best friends are united at one picture. Michi and Lau decorated.

We did one last picture inside the puri machine and decided to have lunch after that.
On the street a few metres away from the J-Store there's a small Japanese restaurant called Udagawa.
From the outside it looks very unimpressive but the food was delicious!

I took the lunch menue with Miso soup and a fantastic Katsudon! I really can recommend this place so if you're on the way to make purikura in Berlin and get hungry, try out this restaurant.
(No, I don't get money for the promotion, ha ha....)

After lunch we went back to Alexanderplatz. We wanted to have a look at some stores like Primark, New Yorker and big shopping center Alexa.

At New Yorker we tried on ear hoodies in 4 different colors. I love that picture so much!

After shopping we were so done that we needed a coffee at Coffee Fellows. To me it's the best thing in my life to sit there with friends and drink coffee. Sounds boring but I love that!

In the evening we said goodbye to Lau and went to my place. We still had a lot of things to do! At first Michi and I tried the fragrance body smell cards from all 4 member of Golden Bomber which was an extra at the last single 'Shinda tsuma ni niteiru' while Senja recorded it with my smartphone.

It was soooo funny.

After that we watched our new Golden Bomber tour 2015 DVD for the first time and had a lot of alcohol! It's the best thing to watch it with Senja and Michi.
I had such a great day with my friends and I really hope to see them all soon together!

5th Int. Gyaru Lovers Winter Meet 2016

On 23rd January was the int. gyaru meet up in Frankfurt.
First we thought to participate in the same constellation as last year but in the end just Senja, Lau and I went to Frankfurt on Friday.
We had a single and a double room and I shared the double room with Senja. On Saturday morning we first had breakfast before we started to dress up.

Because Senja is the best hair dresser all over the world I was happy she did my hair again. She also helped Lau with her amazing hair style.

Senja is just amazing, isn't she? I loved my hair that day so much. Unfortunately the weather was against us >.<

This time I tried a new style. I dressed up in Onee Gyaru look. I bought that look in December in Osaka very spontaneious and I never thought that it would suit me well but I really like it!
We met up 1 pm at the main station before we went to our location together.

The location was a karaoke bar. It was too dark to do some pictures and also while filling out the questionnaire for the different categories like best substyle, best hair, best nails and so on we walked around and tried to have a look at the others. It was funny.

Last year we were around 100 people but this time only around 40 participated. It was a little bit sad. And I really liked the location last time much more.
It was just too dark and noisy so it was hard to have a small talk or get to know the others. The washing room was the best meeting place. The light was awesome for pictures and there you met a lot of people for a talk.

The program during the day was great! Beside a para-para show there was also a raffle (I won a ring *yay*), the voting for Mr. and Mrs. Gyaru Lovers and bring & buy on stage.
It was funny 'cause Lau wanted to sell her Garula top and I was screaming 'cause Garula is/was my favorite brand so I had to buy it.

Lau didn't know that I would like to have it. So it was a funny situation. This is the last I will ever own of the brand Garula 'cause they closed in February *sigh*.
During the entertainment breaks we went outside a lot for smoking, talking and of course, we did some pictures there.

The day was really nice. We ate big bad fat pizza and had a few beer. In the evening we started with karaoke.

To be honest I'm not that big fan of karaoke but it was funny. I sang some Wolfgang Petry songs and I don't know anymore what else xD
Then we went back to our hotel to fresh up and later on all wanted to meet again at main station for going to club but Senja, Lau and I wanted to eat something and got so tired that we just chilled at our hotel room before we fell asleep.

The next day we checked out at 11 am and spend the time at main station's Mc Donald's.

We had some coffee, talked a lot and met one of Senja's friends there (Mutsu) before we had to take our train back to Berlin.

It was a great weekend. I think last year's meet up was more exciting to me 'cause it was my first one and so many people were there but this time I really enjoyed spending time with my friends Lau and Senja and it was more relaxed.
Also it was nice to meet so many nice gals. Can't await the next meet up!
