DoKoMi weekend

ただいま
It's been a long time since I updated my blog. I've got a lot of things to write about like some meet ups, photo shoots, new gets and hell, a lot of pictures about my last journey to Japan
But at the moment I don't have any motivation 'cause of work and bad mood. Michi had to cancel our next trip to Japan so I feel very empty *sigh*...
But for now I wanted to show you some pics of anime and manga convention DoKoMi in Duesseldorf some weeks ago ^^

On Saturday I really did some kind of cosplay after a long time together with Michi. As you know, I'm the biggest Golden Bomber fan all over the world so we did the outfits of the Chéng lóng hěn kù PV.

It was Michi's idea while we were in Tokyo in April and tried to learn the dance. So Michi digivolved to Kenji and I tried to look as good as Yutaka...of course without success, ha ha...

original: sexiest man alive...
... and myself as a bad copy, ha ha
Even we didn't have a complete band it was sooo funny and I love that PV! It's a parody of 'Drunken Master', a movie with Jackie Chan.

Lau and Sato cosplayed some characters from Sket Dance and they looked just awesome, like always.
Since a few years I'm not watching anime or read manga anymore so I'm not really up to date and honestly not interested so I didn't noticed a lot of the cosplays there at DoKoMi >.<°

In the evening we changed clothes and after a shower at Michi's place we went back to the city 'cause it was Sato-chan's birthday and we wanted to have dinner at Japanese restaurant.

My outfit: jumper [New Yorker] and belt [d.i.a.]. It was still freaking hot and humid so it felt a little bit like we were in Japan, ha ha...

Lau, Michi and I
We took a place at Café Relax, had nice dishes, a few drinks and talked while relaxing and enjoying the athmosphere there.

big big love: iced Asahi BEER
On Sunday Michi, Sato, Lau and I went to DoKomi again but this time without cosplay. It was the first (and also last xD) time I tried out a Manba outfit / look:

Because I really really love Gachapin, the cute dinosaur from children's program of Fuji TV, I had the idea to combine Manba and Gachapin together...somehow...

Gachapin is usually accompanied by his friend Mukku, a red Yeti, so I was glad that Lau liked the idea, too and we did this outfit together.

It was really cool and I always wanted to try out Manba but without Lau it won't be possible. She sewed my whole Gachapin outfit (and, of course, her own Mukku outfit) and also she did my make up.
She's just amazing, isn't she? A big big thanks to her!

Even it was great and really cool I dind't feel well with Manba make up and when I was looking in a mirror it was just...creepy, ha ha...

The next day (Monday) was our last day in Duesseldorf. We decided to have Japanese lunch at Ramen bar before our flight went back to Berlin.

Simple outfit that day: d.i.a. belt and shorts and my good, old An Café tour shirt...
Unfortunately I don't have more pictures of that day but we had a nice afternoon before Michi took Lau and me to the airport.
It was really a great weekend so thank you, gurlz!

J-Day in Duesseldorf

Yes, I'm still alive!
At the moment im not very into blogging... but I have to kick myself for it 'cause there are so many things like the last Japan Day, Anime convention, last Japan trip or circle meet up and for me my blog is like my diary.
Mainly my entries are for my memory so I won't quit blogging. Maybe I need a new layout for my motivation?

For the J-Day Lau and I visited our friend Michi who moved to Duesseldorf. I really envy her, the area and her new flat are just awesome!
Also Kirschu came to Michi's place and we all wore a Yukata that day. Lau did my hair but at the moment my brown hair color is really annoying to me.

We all were very surprised 'cause it was fucking crowd! I got that feeling that from year to year there are more and more people x___X
So we searched for a nice sunny place and chilled a little bit. My personal highlight was to eat Yakisoba and had a cold Kirin beer.

Gals's meet
Lau, Kirschu and I tried to find the Gyaru meet while michi was chatting with her friend. We did some pictures and chatted a little bit.
I was a little bit distracted by a Japanese band who was playing on stage at the meeting point. They played rock music and I liked the sound.

In the early evening my friends and I took some pictures together and it was fun, like always!

my lovely girls and me
Me with lovely Sato-chan. I was happy to see her after a long time and she spent a lot of time with us. She's really one of the easiest going persons I ever met!

In the evening it was the first time that I was able to enjoy the big fire works. It was really nice but stressful before 'cause the train didn't stop at our station we wanted to leave and we hadn't find a good place to watch.

Next day we started with a good and loooong breakfast before we started to pack our luggage and dress up 'cause we wanted to have lunch together.
Kirschu unfortunately had to leave some earlier so it was just Michi, Lau and me left.

Outfit shot that day. I really love my new d.i.a. top I bought at Kleiderkreisel.
We locked our luggage at main station and went to Café Relax. Funniest moment to me: the band I saw yesterday on stage was passing by the Immermann Street.

I had Teriyaki chicken karaage. It was really delicious and I felt a little bit like I was in Japan that moment. Duesseldorf is really a nice place with a lots of Japanese restaurants and shops.

my beloved Michi
It was a great final of a nice weekend and Lau and I were sad to leave but we knew that we will come back to DoKomi again ^^

Also I just want to post some of my latest gets.

At H&M I bought a cute cover for my passport. German passports are very ugly and now it's lovely...even just from outside xD

Swimwear from H&M and New Yorker. I don't like swimming but I like to wear it under tops for summer ^^

Golden wedges I bought on eBay...It's Japanese size L and a bit too big but wearable and I really like them! Hopefully I can wear them soon, at the moment the weather here is not that nice.

Earrings from Tally Weijl sponsored by my mom ^^

And golden earrings and necklace. The earrings in the middle from claire's were broken after first time wearing...I was pissed and now I need new ones *sigh*.
Aaand finally I want to wish a special person happy birthday. Kiryuuin Shou, vocal of my absolutely favorite band Golden Bomber turned 30.
In Japan already is the 20th June so I wish him all the best. The picture I found at Yutaka's Twitter a few hours ago...so cute!

Happy Birthday, Kirisho!

Love ya!

Hopefully I can see my band in September. Michi and I got tickets for both live days in Hiroshima but Michi won't get free so we will find another solution.

April showers bring May flowers...

キスミー!
Last week I got a little bit depressed 'cause I returned back from Japan and I don't have any idea when I will go the next time again *sigh*.
I had a great time again, met old and some new friends and I got an eye of the changing fashion there.

I decided, I won't blog about Japan... maybe just a summary or something like that...it's too much 'cause I was there 2 1/2 weeks *lol*.
But now...just thoughts and recent things ^^

To go shopping at Shibuya 109 was, of course, one of my personal highlights again but I had the strange feeling that a lot of things changed and Japanese Gyaru fashion is going to be endangered.
You still have the 'Big One's' like Ma*rs, d.i.a., Cecil Mc Bee (which brand is very lightening and not very gyaru-ish), Liz Lisa etc.
BUT a lot of shops changed in 109 and my friend Lau told me, that there is now an Adidas shop... I won't believe that until I saw it with my own eyes.
And I was surprised that SBY shop is closed in the upper floor... does anybody know if it will be re-opened?
There was no notice...

I was also shocked when I heard that the Gyaru bible, THE Gyaru magazine EGG should be discontinued. Why? No Ageha anymore, no Happy Nuts, no Soul Sister... magazines with less readers 'cause maybe too specific but...EGG???

latest egg issue...last one ever?
So I asked one of my Japanese friends to buy that mag for me a few hours ago and she send me picture after she got it. The cover is really unusual for EGG. Should this be the last EGG ever? I can't believe it but thanks to my friend I will have this last issue.
Is Gyaru dying?

Anyway... I still like that kind of fashion so I will continue to wear what I want when I want even I did never call myself a Gyaru!
And happily I discovered a brand for me again: GARULA!

I was surprised that I now really love the clothes. Until now I just owned a romper of this brand but last weeks I bought two sweater, a top and a hotpant.
So maybe it's love at second sight for me, ha ha...
It's a more lighter version than d.i.a., much more colorful, much more cheap but a little bit similar. Hopefully that brand will survive!

Because I want to change my style a little bit I want to sell some clothes. Maybe...if you're interested have a look at my Kleiderkreisel page.
I loaded up some things and will refresh my clothes there soon.

For my trip to Japan I had done my nails since a lot of months. I missed it a lot but it's impossible to wear long nails at my work *sigh*. You feel much more better with nails! Next time I will make them green for a Gachapin style, ha ha... I can't await it!

Also I made a decision to colour my hair again. I like my brown hair but it's a little bit boring to me so I will go back to blonde soon.

Yumachi inspired me for that style. I would like to have a mix between brown and blonde and maybe some light pink. I will never have just creepy blonde again but I think this is a good option!
So let's see, how and when I will go for it!

And last but not least: I started to play Pokémon X! All my friends played it and told me, how great the games are. Thanks to lovely Mao now I can try it by myself. She lend me her Nintendo 3DS with Pokémon X.
The design and the artwork is awesome! Even my hardcore Pokémon time is gone it's fun to me to play it again but hell, I don't know the half of the Pokémon anymore! How many do they have? x____X

Next weeks will be interesting I hope: I would like to visit the Japan Day in Duesseldorf, the DoKomi, an anime and manga convention and hopefully make new plans for my next trip to Japan!

 See ya! And take care!
