DoKoMi weekend

ただいま。
It's been a long time since I updated my blog. I've got a lot of things to write about like some meet ups, photo shoots, new gets and hell, a lot of pictures about my last journey to Japan. 
But at the moment I don't have any motivation 'cause of work and bad mood. Michi had to cancel our next trip to Japan so I feel very empty *sigh*... 
But for now I wanted to show you some pics of anime and manga convention DoKoMi in Duesseldorf some weeks ago ^^ 

On Saturday I really did some kind of cosplay after a long time together with Michi. As you know, I'm the biggest Golden Bomber fan all over the world so we did the outfits of the Chéng lóng hěn kù PV.

It was Michi's idea while we were in Tokyo in April and tried to learn the dance. So Michi digivolved to Kenji and I tried to look as good as Yutaka...of course without success, ha ha...

Even we didn't have a complete band it was sooo funny and I love that PV! It's a parody of 'Drunken Master', a movie with Jackie Chan.

Lau and Sato cosplayed some characters from Sket Dance and they looked just awesome, like always.
Since a few years I'm not watching anime or read manga anymore so I'm not really up to date and honestly not interested so I didn't noticed a lot of the cosplays there at DoKoMi >.<°

In the evening we changed clothes and after a shower at Michi's place we went back to the city 'cause it was Sato-chan's birthday and we wanted to have dinner at Japanese restaurant.

My outfit: jumper [New Yorker] and belt [d.i.a.]. It was still freaking hot and humid so it felt a little bit like we were in Japan, ha ha...

We took a place at Café Relax, had nice dishes, a few drinks and talked while relaxing and enjoying the athmosphere there.

On Sunday Michi, Sato, Lau and I went to DoKomi again but this time without cosplay. It was the first (and also last xD) time I tried out a Manba outfit / look:

Because I really really love Gachapin, the cute dinosaur from children's program of Fuji TV, I had the idea to combine Manba and Gachapin together...somehow...

Gachapin is usually accompanied by his friend Mukku, a red Yeti, so I was glad that Lau liked the idea, too and we did this outfit together.

It was really cool and I always wanted to try out Manba but without Lau it won't be possible. She sewed my whole Gachapin outfit (and, of course, her own Mukku outfit) and also she did my make up.
She's just amazing, isn't she? A big big thanks to her!

Even it was great and really cool I dind't feel well with Manba make up and when I was looking in a mirror it was just...creepy, ha ha...

The next day (Monday) was our last day in Duesseldorf. We decided to have Japanese lunch at Ramen bar before our flight went back to Berlin.

Simple outfit that day: d.i.a. belt and shorts and my good, old An Café tour shirt...
Unfortunately I don't have more pictures of that day but we had a nice afternoon before Michi took Lau and me to the airport.
It was really a great weekend so thank you, gurlz!

Last weeks in pictures

Hey dears, it's November and I realized that I missed a lot of things to post in the past but I didn't want to interrupt my report about my Japan journey.
So I decided to make a short shot in pictures about my last weeks and next time I will continue blogging with normal posts.



In August our circle GG-Glitter had the jubilee meet-up. I really enjoyed it and I have to say that I love all the girls so much! It's always funny and they're all just georgeous.

We did purikura, of course, went to a picnic with selfmade things and we ended up, like always, with drinking in a bar.

Fuyu and I

Because our cute Fuyu wasn't able to join the meet she went one weekend later to Berlin and met some of our girls. I had to work but after I went to restaurant with her, Lau and Thanan. It was a nice day.

In September I went to the Connichi in Kassel. Unfortunately I had to work on Friday so I just went for two days to Kassel.

It was my first time not wearing a cosplay but also the first time wearing my Ma*rs dress. I think it doesn't suit me well...I look sooo thin in it >.< 

Maybe I will sell it *sigh*...

Btw, I got my extensions out, dyed my hair gold brown and also my good old clip ins with the aid of Lau.

And I met one of my best friends Michi. I missed her a lot, it was the first time since April to see her. We took the chance and made new plans for our next trip to Japan.

On the 3rd October I had free and Michi visited me for a longer weekend. First day she visited with me the Sea Life Center in Berlin 'cause she knows that I LOVE fishes <3

But after I was very disappointed: There weren't rays to pet Q___Q But next time when I will be in Tokyo I will do this!

On weekend we wanted to visit the MMC, a manga and anime convention in Berlin and really, I wore a cosplay but just the old Kyan Yutaka Memeshikute outfit.
We had the idea to make purikura and I really loved it:

It was the first time that I really had fun with doing purikura. That was the best idea we ever had and it was sooo good to have my best friends around me again.

The convention itself wasn't that interesting. I guess it will be enough for me to visit the book fair in Leipzig and the Connichi in future.

Also we had another circle meet up. I guess we are the most active circle in Germany atm but I'm happy and I can't await the next meet.
We went to Leipzig to visit Goof and we met a new potential member: Amber from England.

Hani was so kind and made a phone case for me. I always wanted to have a Gachapin phone case and I was sad that they are only available for iPhone.

It was a funny day even I missed Senja and Mao. We had big Schnitzel at a restaurant, went shopping and, of course, ended up in a bar.

So...that's it. So for now I'll try to survive until after Christmas and counting my days until my next journey to Japan.

Book Fair Leipzig

This will be just a short entry about the book fair last weekend. For me it's every year like a short vacation 'cause I always take some free days and on Friday we relax with shopping and strolling through the streets.

We arrived after noon at main station. I was glad to spent the time with my best friends Michi and Lau. The sun was shining but it was freaking cold!
Last year we had around 17°C but this year it felt like ice age úu

My outfit that day: d.i.a. skirt and belt, H&M cutsew, Ma*rs knit, H&M fake fur scarf and Tally Weijl overknees.
We took some time at our hotel and made some mirror shots.

After leaving our hotel room we went to the city and were walking through the streets. We stopped by at some shops and I can't resist and bought a cool shirt at 'New Steinbruch'.

Lau also bought some clothes there. We also took a look at H&M, Orsay, claire's and other nice shops. Michi found nothing.

At a nice café we took a break for chatting and warming up. I ate a delicious french toast but it was too much so I shared with the other girls xD#

By the way, we still have snow. I can't see the white shit anymore *sigh*...where the hell is spriiiing?

For dinner we went to an asian restaurant. I just had a curry soup 'cause I was sooo full after that toast that I wasn't able to eat a real meal.
In the evening we went back to hotel and after that nice day we were prepared for the fair...

On Saturday our first day at the book fair started with an epic breakfast. After that Lau and Michi dressed up as Kenji and Shou 'cause that day we wanted to cosplay Golden Bomber in Dance my Generation PV version.

The weather was nice but cold, of course. I changed my clothes and became Yutaka. Finally we met our cute Kirschu as Jun and we were complete and started to make some pictures.

Me as Yutaka. He's looking so sexy with that hairstyle like me... ... ... NOT! xD But it was sooo funny and some people recognized us as Golden Bomber so we were happy and we also found some other Golden Bomber cosplayer.

On Sunday that day started awful and I was pissed cause my water bottle was leak in my bag and my smartphone took a swim in it -.-°
So we arrived late at the book fair. We just took some pictures with Kirschu 'cause she had to leave very early. We cosplayed Super Gals.
I don't know that anime but it looked cute so I joined together with Michi and we were a nice group.

My character's name is Aya Hoshino. I choosed her because I wanted to do something with dark hair. And the outfit was really comfy.
In the afternoon we met our friend Fluff and it was sooo funny to hang around with her. After that weird morning she was able to cheer me up a lot and also took a lot of pictures.

So it was a nice weekend at all. I want to thank Lau for everything, Michi, Kirschu and Fluff.

Next Friday Michi and I will go to Japan for two weeks. When I come back I will write a blog entry for every day but for now I'm busy with preparations for my holidays ^O^ ...
